Deep reds and traditional greens feel at home again. Velvet bows add softness. Gold and brass bring warmth. Wood and ceramic make rooms feel grounded. Glass catches the Christmas lights. Old traditions are being rediscovered rather than discarded.

And perhaps that’s the part of these trends we like most.

You don’t need to chase every new Christmas decorating idea.

You can keep the ornaments your children made. You can display the nativity you’ve had for years. You can use your grandmother’s Christmas dishes beside a new set of candlesticks. You can tie a few burgundy bows onto the tree and call it good.
